  • One may think that technology isn’t intrinsically immoral as people can utilize technology for both social good and bad. It is my opinion that this is too an extremist a view, and that different technologies are more or less suited to abuse. A watch can’t be used to cause the same amount of social harm as the internet, likewise a watch can’t be used to produce the same amount of social good as the internet. Each technology can be utilized for good or bad to differing extents.

  • In this essay I will outline how major advancements in computer technology have been abused to cause social harm.
