A Common Spiritual Practice
Just the first paragraph reveals clearly everything that is worth knowing - in itself it is a meaningful object of knowledge.
Basically it is a list of things to do:
But when we begin our practice we have many questions, doubts, which lead us to ideas of discouragement and maybe to abandon what we actually know to be true.
As we begin our practice our laziness is a big obstacle and it is interfering with our whole life not only with our Dharma practice.
If you have problem with practicing Dharma this is probably a problem you have with yourself and this in turn will manifest itself in different ways at work, with family, friends, etc
Faith
So a deepr or more refined approach to our situation is needed.
This is why Geshela takes the basic practice of abandoning non-virtue, practicing virtue and destroying our delusions and to help us do just this he gives us more practices that support the main body.
