  • A bus ride from Golden Mile Tower to Royale Bintang Hotel

Several Bus Operators use the Golden Mile Complex as a boarding and drop off point for long distance buses to and from Malaysia. The Complex in itself is a shopping mall with several Thai Clubs, shops and food stalls. It is not a standalone and a real dedicated bus terminal but merely a drop off and a departure point in front of the shopping mall. The Coach Companies have their ticket booths on the ground floor of this Complex. Some of the most famous operators operating via this Complex are Grassland Express, Five Star Tours, Konsortium, Sri Maju, Starmart Express, and Transstar. You can easily reach the Golden Mile Complex by boarding any Intra State Bus Nos. 7, 32, 51, 61, 62, 80 and 961. You can also reach here by hailing a Cab which will be affordable too since this Complex is centrally located.

I am not one of those who would practically go to a ticket booth just to book tickets and then arriving later to board the Bus. Instead, I booked my tickets online easily from https://www.redbus.sg/ and reached Golden Mile Complex only on the day of the departure. This building was built at a cost of about 18 million and was completed in the year 1973. It stands tall at 16 storeys and houses numerous eateries within itself.

A number of popular Operators ply buses from Golden Mile Complex to Royale Bintang Hotel. The Operators are known to be quite punctual and provide some of the best services. The top Operators that I would recommend you are Starmart Express, Transtar Travel Pvt Ltd, Seasons Express, Konsortium (Singapore), Nice and Luxury Coach. Starmart Express, Luxury Coach and Konsortium are some of the Operators that have buses plying through out the entire day. Starmart Express has about 6 buses plying right from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

The cost of the tickets start from SGD30 and go up all the way to SGD50. The total duration of the journey, is about 6 hours depending upon the time of the day you leave? However, your journey might take longer if you leave later during the day. Konsortium Express is another Operator plying on this route operating with only luxury coaches. They have buses plying right from 8:00 in the morning till 11:00 am. They ply about 5 buses during this time period.

Royale Bintang Hotel This Hotel is one of the most upscale properties of Kuala Lumpur . The hotel welcomes its guests with an infinity outdoor pool and some of the most relaxing Spa Treatments.
