When Jasypre was young he had a crush on this girl, so pure and innocent. They fell in love and without the approval from his peers their love fell apart and she died.
After he calmed down and found himself help he fell into a relationship with someone who was the exact opposite of his previous girlfriend. They weren’t a really good couple and so it didn’t last long.
The relationship was much more like a one time fling when Jaspyre got drunk and Rendel got ‘revenge’ on Ivory. It made Jaspyre question his sexuality.
Blythe was the man Jaspyre used to test his sexuality with. Blythe was ‘girly enough’ but not really and Jaspyre thought it might have worked out after the Rendel fling, but really Jaspyre wasn’t gay.
Sometime during his miserable experiment to be someone he was not Jaspyre started to have feelings for the secretary he was so cruel to for Blythe’s sake. He’s not fessing anything up to her but it might be because Jaspyre knows that he’s the one who destroyed her life.
Back in high school Jaspyre thought it was pretty cool to live his stereotypes and be this skateboarding emo guy. He looked a lot like a chick and he moped a lot.
Kita dies and he kills everything, nuff said.
Okay not really enough said. He goes crazy and spends time in an asylum after that.
This is the point in my life that reminds me of greasers even though Jaspyre was never really a greaser. He dates this girl and they’re noth bickering street punks from the wrong side of town. He’s pretty much a nobody at this point.
After that he obviously goes from 0 to hero and becomes a doctor…at a hospital that doesn’t follow the hypocratic oath whatsoever.
He didn’t work out at the hospital again.

he’s young and innocent he’s trying to date to change his life
maybe it’s not even that he really likes her but he just wants an out from the poverty
and that makes her seem like an angel
She’s his way out
and so he treasure’s her
And after she’s gone he realizes he’s a nobody and he was pitiful. He acts like she’s died off but really she’s just moved on and he never fit in there.
She’s this preppy snob
She instills so many shitty stereotypes that pre-pubescent writing has
She’s a flat character
what the fuck is with that angel bullshit
It gives Jaspyre a better chance to date what’s supposed to be in his ‘standards’.
She’s a more extreme of what people in his neighborhood are like.
She opens up his eyes to possibilities.
Shoots down his dreams
Tells him he’s not worthwhile.
Turns Jaspyre into the kind of man that feels like a disappointment to his mother.
Ivory is underdeveloped as a character
The abusive edge reminds me of Vaness, (old) Twyla, and Dakota
Instead of Rendel forcing himself on him Jaspyre sees it as a way out
He’s always hearing Rendel talk about the hospital and how important doctors are.
Rendel takes him to fain vitals to retreive some bodies.
Afterwards they head back to Jaspyre/Ivory’s place and sexy times occur.
It gives Jaspyre a reason to go to faint vitals.
Rendel is a guy.
Jaspyre would still end up in Faint Vitals.
Jaspyre is trying to be ‘helpful’
The hospital doesn’t specifically aim to kill just torture.
Blythe does all the torturing, Jaspyre does try to help but doesn’t know what he’s really doing
Their relationship might actually make sense
