Final thoughts (what do you want the reader to do/remember?)
“Who am I?” that is the Question That has plagued humanity since we have had a sense of self.
Me Specifically? My name is Daniel, personally I consider myself a very boring person, but that is only personal opinion. however I am still human.
I am unique in every sense of the word, and like most others of my species have family, hobbies, and goals.
My childhood was what was nothing special.
I was Born in Harlingen, Texas. I have three brothers, two sisters, and two loving Parents. Just your normal Suburban upbringing. I was the youngest child and as such I soaked in the ideas of my elders.
my upbringing was nothing but supportive.
I was considered to be very different from the other children however.
I was fascinated by very odd things. I would stay up long hours playing video games religiously, going on table top adventures in Dungeons & Dragons with my brothers, and dedicate my eyes to the Gods of Television. I learned how to cook from The masters of my kitchen, my sisters. I wasn’t into sports at all; despite my first word being ball. This is all boiled down into my identity. The walking embodiment of “nerd-ism.”
my family has played the central role in my upbringing; molding me in their likeness while I developed a persona of my own. something very different than what could be considered the norm.
Now that I’ve grown I’ve become very much a man of my own, as such I have developed aspiring Dreams which I need to fulfill before my time comes.
one could describe their goals in fashion of “The American Dream” To get my dream job, to own a home, and most of all; to marry the woman I adore. unlike most men I do not lust for fame and fortune. Just enough to live comfortably. To provide for my love and our children. If I can achieve this then I shall live happily for the rest of my days.
perhaps we will live in Seattle. That town is a Mecca for the line of work I am aiming to be a part of, And I always did Love the Somber rain.
Again these are just my own aspirations. Which are a part of who I am and who I aim to be. The things that make me more human and less divine; my flaws and traits.
I was Born, I lived, and I will die. along the journey of life I have slowly but surely discovered myself. From being groomed into the man I am to distinguishing myself apart from my generation. I have finally found the path I must walk to finding meaning to my existence.
So “who I am?” you might ask. I am Daniel; The son of a mechanic. Trying to break free the constraints given at birth to achieve happiness. I have come a long way and still haven’t answered that question for myself. there are many ways a man can explain himself to others, but for simplicity’s sake I am who I am, and that is me.
