  • Fullerton Hotel to Marini’s on 57 by bus

    Fullerton Hotel

The Fullerton Hotel is completely themed in white and is the only hotel that has been built with bricks. The hotel is strategically located close to the Marina Bay area. If you are planning to come to the hotel directly from the airport, it is going to be a long journey as the hotel is about 17 kms away from the airport. I was recommended by a friend of mine to travel by bus and I did so. The experience was quite pleasant. While booking tickets through https://www.redbus.sg/ was convenient and hassle free. I found the Bus Operators quite punctual and friendly too.

Local areas of interest around this hotel are the SunTec convention and a state of the art exhibition centre. Orchard Road and Clarke Quay are also near this hotel. These nearby markets offer some of the best products at never seen prices. The hotel houses about 400 guest rooms and a stay here will cost you about 345 SGD. The hotel also has 3 restaurants that specialises in international and local cuisines. The international cuisine was just delicious. If you are planning to take a swim in the calm atmosphere, the hotel also has a huge pool within its premises.

    Marini’s on 57

Marini’s on 57 is one of the most opulent bars of Malaysia and is located on the 57th floor of Petronas Tower. The theme of this hotel has been distinctly based on the 1920s art decor theme. The moment you enter this bar you will come across a grand collection of some of the best wine glasses from all over the world. The ceiling is about 15 metres above your head making it one of the tallest bars of Malaysia. It has a 12-metre high bar installation and a trendy and modern wine cellar that holds over 3000 bottles of red, white and sparkling wine. It is also known to have a wide range of cocktails and beers.

You can board a bus from the Fullerton Square Bus Stop, which is 2 minutes away from the Fullerton hotel. The bus will drop you off at KLCC Bus Stop, which is 6 minutes away from Marini’s on 57. The total duration of the journey is 13 hours and there is a bus every 20 minutes. The Bus operators plying on this route are Rapid KL, KTMB, SBS Transit and Transnational.

End-to-End connectivity is what the buses here can offer you and travelling by Bus is preferable by locals as well as tourists. There are buses every 15 minutes in both the countries. When I travel to any of these countries, I prefer to take a bus as I can always book one online and make payments online too. There is no hassle of carrying cash or waiting for a Cab to arrive where they are dominated by Surge pricing during peak hours. An Express Bus option is also something that you can consider if you are short of time as these buses stop at fewer and main tourist points.
