What is Google Docs (Drive, Gmail, etc.)

is an online file storage system available through the Internet developed by Google.

Your Google Drive files, and those of others shared with you, are available to you any time and anywhere in the world where you have a computer, a laptop, a tablet, or a smartphone connected to the Internet.

and some device that will connectusing a web browser and various mobile devices apps.

If I were to ask a room full of people, “What is Google?” it would be no surprise the number one answer would be something like, it’s what you use to find things on the Internet, or it’s a search engine.

That answer is, of course, correct in the usual context. What many people don’t know is Google provides far more than the biggest and most used Internet search engine in the world.

So what then is Google?
