  • 1, 2 & 3: These are all books from my childhood. They’re considered classics in my family and each of us read them when we were little.

    4: This was the first geniune poem I’ve ever written. It described my background using short little memories. My parents both loved it when they read it so it’s pretty special.

  • 1, 2 & 3: Every night, my mom and I would sit in her big bed and read stories. I remember how slowly she would read and how she would use her voice to portray the characters. As I kid, I loved using my imagination to create the stories and I also loved having that special time with my mom every day.

    4: I remember when I was writing this and I sat around my house observing for ideas. It was a unique process because I kind of broke down the Leo family and noticed new things about us.
