10s 11/10/16 5.50 5.57
20s 12/10/16 ? 6.26 (slight cloud, big red ring around sun)
30s 13/10/16 5.57
40s 14/10/16 6.02 (lots of cloud, small gap for a few mins, slight haze, slightly longer)
50s 15/10/16 5.58 (slight haze, but bright, can see yellow circle and red ring several minutes after - as typing this - on white background or sky through window - gone after 7 mins, 0 discomfort, not slept night before - afterimages more common?, eyesight already seems to be better - everything very sharp, even though been up all night, feels like I have more energy than just before doing it)
16/10/16 clouds
60s 17/10/16 6.02 clouds, but could see sun; very tired eyes (not slept much) - very slight yellow aftereffect for a minute or so - would have left it for another day if it was longer
18/10/16 drunk
70s 19/10/16 5.55 slight cloud - did for about 2m to compensate for cloud, after-effect for a few mins, tired when woke up
20/10/16 heavy clouds
21/10/16 “
80s 22/10/16 6.05 ealier sunrise, tired eyes (slept just 3.5 hours), much brighter than before, forced it a bit, afterglow for a few mins - but just a few mins, hoping to sleep earlier for better tomorrow (drank alcohol the night before and not sleep so well)
90s 23/10/16 5.55 Sunrise noticeably earlier than at beginning, tired (just a few hours sleep), but no alcohol the night before - and earlier - adapted better than day before, afterglow slight and just for a few secs - felt noticeably better after doing it - hoping that it will help to get into better sleeping pattern (going to continue with no alcohol)
100s 24/10/16 5.55 tired - was up all day yesterday, went to sleep around 23.30, drank alcohol in the afternoon, but last drink around 7.30pm, have a few days off alcohol now, afterglow gone quickly
110s 25/10/16 5.54 tired, alcohol previous night, lots of cloud in sky but small area where Sun rises where it was fairly clear (a little haze), did an extra 2 mins ish (about 4 in total) because was not straining - to get a bit more to compensate for the haze and help train eyes, very little afterglow
26/10/16 heavy cloud
27/10/16 too tired in morning, got up at 8.30am; try in evening @5.15pm - looking through trees, 85s - then feel something in head, and stop
120s 28/10/16 5.38 5.55 very tired - sleep at past 2am, Sun noticeably brighter now
130s 29/10/16 5.37 6.00 up all night, most amazing colours of the sunrise behind the hills - like images that I used to colour of the sky at School, was some cloud covering the sun - a little worried that would hurt, because tired, but watched it slowly coming up through the clouds - and eyes got used to it. Saw circles of all colours of the rainbow radiating out (in patches - 2D radiating out. Had some hallucinations of lines - especially from direction of Sun out, problably beccause of tiredness. Wondering if eyes are changing / more sensitive.
Didn’t hurt, despite being tired. Was wired from loads of coffee / the project

While dancing like a maniac in the kitchen (wearing some very warm and comfortable - but far from sexy - leggings), at the same time furiously typing away on my computer as I start to get years of notes all organized, I turn around and see about 40 ants aggressively trying to move a bug that’s been squashed on the floor, but it was glued to the floor (for them at least).
10 minutes later - they were still tugging away
15 minutes later - I decided to help them out by unsticking the bug with a dirty spoon that needed washing (upon which they all hurried away)
5 minutes later - just 3 ants were managing to move the bug on their own.
It was amazing to see all the ants tugging and pushing together like that.
An hour or so later I saw them finally on the other side of the kitchen with the bug. Teamwork!

As I was coming back from the local shop on a mammoth mission to get a solitary bottle of red wine, I crossed a very, very busy ant ‘highway’.
There are several ant ‘trails’ or ‘highways’, but they seem to use different ones at different times of the day.
It could have something to do with the species - I’ve seen at least 5 or 6 different ant species here, ranging from big to small and black to red.
Aynt that somethin’!
