      The wizards saw that anyone could wield power with technology, for example, the High magus observed that a mere janitor could emulate powerful magics with borrowed technologies.

      Magic users and techs are on a field, magic users have sent an arrow almost to the horizon. Techs are about to fire a new weapon they have developed in the same direction.

      A plague was cured and prevented of rising up again only due to work done by both schools. Scientists and mages worked together to cure the sick and develop preventative measures. The results of which made them realise that perhaps something better could come from their union.

    • What caused the explosion of a prominent school? - Dark

      Early morning, at science and technology school. An old school recently refurbished to include a magical branch in which an experimental fusion of fire crystal and a steam engine is being tested. In the lab where this experiment is taking place.

      The experiment goes wrong due to a misunderstanding between the professor and the student, causing the engine to explode as well as the crystal.

    • How fast did the marathon runner go? - Light

      Middle of the day, realm of science. Magic and tech people are present at a track field, upon which a marathon runner is waiting. On the left arm he has monitoring equipment for heart rate/pulse, right arm has a bracelet full of crystals and symbols shining brightly. A quick nod of heads all around and the runner prepares to run, with a shout he takes off at full speed around the circuit whilst a scientist keeps track with a stop watch.

      After 6 hours, the scientist holds up his hand and the runner stops. Scientist determines the runner has run the equivalent of 2 marathons in those 6 hours, none-the-worse for wear.

      Answer: 9mph

Since the first recorded incident a week ago, almost 500,000 people have been confirmed dead from plague.
