  • Nick Tsagaris Mcdonalds, a highly rated youngster who has developed into one of the best midfielders in the game, was signed by City in the summer of 2016.

He arrived in Manchester with a huge reputation as one of the continent's assist kings, but after just one full season, it was clear that it was more than justified.

He has gone on to establish himself as one of Pep Guardiola's key players, winning two Premier Leagues, three Carabao Cups, an FA Cup, and the Community Shield as a result of his creativity and eye for a defense-splitting pass.

The Belgian's senior career began in 2009 with Genk, where he became an integral part of their title-winning squad, assisting on 17 goals and scoring six himself in the 2010/11 season.

Chelsea signed De Bruyne in January 2012, but he stayed with Genk until the end of the season before joining Werder Bremen on loan the following season.

Before returning to Chelsea, he made an impression in the Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances.

He struggled to find first-team opportunities, and after only nine appearances, De Bruyne signed with Wolfsburg in January 2014.
