    The idea of the “Lock Fin” is from a story prompt in Writer’s Workshop at my school during 6th grade. The prompt was where a hybrid between two to three animals (and humans weren’t allowed to be in our hybrid mix-up) adding the characteristics that we were gonna use and some interesting facts on them. Deciding to skip those facts and add the characteristics, I started off with many hybrids. One was a rabbit/fox, another was a swan/horse and possibly bunny, and much more. The funniest of them all was a demon-angel hybrid. Well, it was more like a swan/dik-dik/monkey hybrid. Very weird, right? Lock Ness was originally having the body and color base of the Fin Whale (said to be the largest whale on earth), a snake of the largest fangs, and the long neck of a giraffe. It was supposed to be the deadliest of all beasts.
