PITCH FEST/DEMO DAY
FUTURE WORKSHOPS
The Pitchfork Program is an 8 week training program for food based businesses which are in early stages of idea development or business startup or need to reset their direction and strategy. It consists of 8 consecutive weekly 90 minute sessions. The program spends the first three weeks using the Business Model Canvas to introduce a basic level of business knowledge and planning. The remaining weeks are spent on specific food-related topics such as production, packaging, growing a food business, food business resources. The program ends with Market Evaluations of the participants products that are performed by industry experts and a “Pitch Fest” for food related businesses. We want participants to “know what they don’t know” about running a food based business and also know where to get help with their business.
