INTRO

Ever wanted to be a professional greeter, here is 8 steps how. Showing you step by step from the host stand to the second the guests walk out the door.

STEP 1

When seating and greating a guest be sure to smile use the 5-10 rule, 10 feet away make eye contact, 5feet away say hello and welcome. Make sure hair is neat and uniform ins clean and ironed. When welcoming guest, smile introduce the restaurant.

STEP 2
Ask weather they have a reservation and confirm the guest last name and number of guest.

If the guest does not have a reservation ask may I have a last name for the tabe, then follow with asking how many will the reservation be for.

STEP 3

Keep a comfortable pace not being too far head

Engage with the guest, ask how their day is or what are their plans for the evening,
ENGAGE THE GUEST – MAKE CONVERSATION

Once arrive to the table, pull out the chair for any women in the goup.

As the guest sit down present the menus to the women first then the men. Present the wine list and leave it centered on the table.
