Suns
Different eras of history are listed as “Suns”. In the official Addos Calendar the following Suns are recognized:
Same as common English alphabet.
Stetko
“Student? Better make a bell-penny. Piss on that. The only thing I’m good at is making sure the rest of ya die first. Me pointing you around would be like cheating. You’d be a bag of smoke to me, hoddy. Just bait to whoever says I should die before ‘em.”
“Swords make me too content. I can just cut you up and keep shitting. I’m too lazy with a sword. Makes me think I’m invincible. The only weapon worth a damn is a good, honest fear for your life.”
“Idon Ilitar was not a physically imposing man, his head only just reached the withers of his painted horse. He was barrel chested from the front but hardly stout when viewed at an angle. His arms were thin, even if they were muscular, and oddly long for his frame. Dark and leathery, his skin was worn and calloused from a lifetime in the sun and battles with a sail but remarkably free of major scarring. His eyes were rarely completely open, heavy with spirits in the evenings and grimacing through the sun’s reflection to the fish below during the day.
Ilitar had wiry reddish-brown hair which he kept pulled back with a linen wrap. He rarely wore shoes and tended toward plain, workman’s clothes over the current fashions. He also never carried a weapon claiming that “the only weapon worth a damn is a real, honest fear for your life.” He did keep a small gutter knife in a leather slip that hung from a cord around his neck but he claimed to have never used it on anything but fish.”
Broken into numeric names one through eight (first, second, third, etc)
Daylight fluctuates throughout the month with the longest days falling in line with the full moon. This occurs during the middle part of the month and results in long days (5 hours, day light from 2:30am to 9:30pm) followed by bright nights. The end of the month, however has short days (5 hours, day light from 2:30am to 9:30pm) and very dark nights. There is a day of leisure once a week with the Eighth of the Slender being the first and the following days being the second. Each following feast day falling nine days after the previous.
The Slender (Eights)- Waxing crescent - There are haunted shadows in the Slender Eights… - Superstition similar to Friday the Thirteen. The Slender Eights are a day of leisure but a somber one. People primarily stay home, do not work and reflect on religious beliefs, family or general feelings of goodwill. Some folklore claims the sinners are punished during this day.
(First) Early Star - First Quarter - A day of celebration following the somberness of the slender eights. Social gatherings frequently fall on this day.
(Second) Rising Fire - Waxing Gibbous
(Third) Day of Long Light - Full Moon
(Fourth) Day of the Sun’s Harvest
(Fifth) Twilight Star - Third Quarter
(Sixth) Sinking Fire - Waning Crescent
