Over the past 4 years, KC-BANCS has learned a lot about supporting college students with disabilities and veterans as they earn S.T.E.M. degrees and transition to careers. We would like to find ways to share what we have learned and help keep the work going.
Share evidence-based, promising practices from KC-BANCS with collaborating partners
Determine how to use KC-BANCS’ last year to strategically support projects hosted at collaborating partner organizations that resonate with the goals of KC-BANCS
Identify the resources and supports within KC communities and partner organizations so that we help transition those who have participated in our programs the past four years

64 college students with disabilities have participated in STEM Scholars
47 workshops convened for college students
720 academic coaching sessions facilitated for college students
127 faculty and staff participated in Universal Design for Learning workshops
4 community conversations hosted for students, faculty, staff, businesses, nonprofit organizations
148 registrations for the community conversations
