This template is based on the ideas promoted by Kim Hudson in her thought-provoking book The Virgin’s Promise.
This is meant as a guide to plot out a story and not a replacement for the book itself.

#Act 2 - Secret World
#Act 3 - The Kingdom
Virgin - represents innocence and naivety and is therefore a susceptible target in power games. She is treated as a valued commodity because of her role in the continuation of cultural values and patriarchy. This is symbolized by her praise for her purity and sexual inexperience.
Whore - has lost authority over her life and is an unvalued and scorned commodity in society. She provides no evidence that she has a dream for herself or the right to express a personal opinion.
Virgin - asleep to her potential, which is preserved but dormant.
Whore - knows she is selling or being robbed of her soul, but feels powerless to reclaim it.
Mother/Goddess - uses her feminine powers to nurture and inspire others.
Femme Fatale - aware of her power over the emotions and drives of others and uses it for her maximum personal benefit.
Crone - embodies resistance to joining the cosmos because she has an obsession with anti-aging or a focus on the past (regret and nostalgia). She strives to drag others down with her rather than moving forward.

NOTE: This is for people who don’t want to use the Act Structure and instead plot out their entire stories by the plot points.
The Virgin is introduced to the audience with her fundamental strengths and weaknesses. We see the world in which she has been raised and come to understand her compelling need for growth. This is the DEPENDENT WORLD of the Virgin.
This is where the audience realizes the Virgin is being diminished by her domestic environment.
This sets the story in motion and draws the Virgin into the story. For the Virgin, the OPPORTUNITY TO SHINE is the first taste of realizing her dream.
This is where the Virgin first blossoms and where the light first flickers in her eyes and we get a hint of her potential.
Because of the pain and abuse of the Domestic World, the Virgin realizes her dreams by creating the SECRET WORLD.
The Virgin’s focus on her dream changes her and she soon realizes that she doesn’t belong here and has to rise above her environment.
This is where the Dependent World collides with the Secret World and she realizes she cannot keep them separated. She often finds herself punished, shamed, or exiled because she has a dream for herself and is taking the steps to achieve it.
The Virgin must separate from a belief she holds that is not serving her well.
The Kingdom disconnects from its old values.
This is a period of transition where the Virgin is not sure where she belongs and has a choice - do I go back and make others happy or fulfill my dream?
The Virgin CHOOSES HER LIGHT and decides she will live according to her potential.
The Kingdom goes through a period of uncertainty and a battle of wills, the RE-ORDERING. If this causes problems for the Virgin, then there is a RESCUE to save her.
This reveals a double climax of transformation.
1 - The Virgin claims her true self.
2 - The Kingdom creates a space where the Virgin can flourish and becomes a better place because of her.
