In terms of wireless data communication technology, compared with developed countries such as Europe, the United States and Japan, China started late, at least 20 years behind, but developed rapidly. The formation of the concept of wireless data transmission radio in China should have been in the early 1980s after the reform and opening up. However, in the entire 1980s, due to the relatively backward software and hardware technology and the relatively low level of system integration, the data transmission radio to receiver RXB8 was only applied in a few fields, such as water conservancy, electric power and self supplied water, for some experimental, small-scale and small batch applications. Seeing the development prospect of wireless data communication, the National Radio Regulatory Commission at that time also set aside a dedicated frequency band of 223~235mhz for wireless RXB8 data communication, avoiding competing for limited frequency resources with voice communication equipment such as 150MHz and 450MHz at that time.
